Tasks and To-do List
Our Memozine software enables you to keep track of the tasks that you need to accomplish, to
record detailed information about each task, and to view and manage a to-do list. You can:

Define the timescales for each task, and update them if needed as you go along.

Assign a level of importance to each task, classify tasks into categories, organise them
into projects.

Record detailed information about each task, including links to other elements of data that
you keep in your Memozine database. For example, you could set up a link to a person from
whom you may need assistance in completing the task; or to an organisation that you must
contact; or to a place that you need to visit; or to tools or equipment that you require.

Define recurring tasks. A recurring task is a task that you intend to accomplish repeatedly
at regular intervals of time. For example, you may want to record that you need to shop for
groceries every week on Saturday, or that you have to complete a particular business report
at the end of every month, or that you must submit a tax return every year by the end of
January. When you mark a recurring task as complete, Memozine automatically schedules the
next occurrence to start at the appropriate date.
At any time, you can open the to-do list window of the application to view and edit a list of
all the tasks that you need to start or complete. That list may be sorted and filtered in
different manners to make it easier to find relevant information.
You can also use the powerful query functionality of Memozine to search for current, future or
past tasks based on specific criteria.
If you so wish, you can configure Memozine so that, when you start it, it automatically
presents you with reminders about tasks that you need to start and/or complete now or in the
immediate future.
