With our Memozine software, you can keep a structured, searchable diary to keep track of what
you are doing in your daily life. Memozine enables you to:
Diary Software
Classify your diary entries into categories.
Specify different levels of importance for different diary entries to help you in
searching your diary for the most important information when needed.
Illustrate your diary entries with images, photos or media content (video or audio).
Set up hierarchical groups of diary entries as and when appropriate. For instance, you may
create a top-level diary entry, which may span multiple days, to record an overview of a
holiday you have had, and associate to that diary entry any number of "child" diary entries
containing details of particular things you have done during your holiday.
In addition to diary entries, record discrete pieces of information about each day. This
could include, for example, the time at which you woke up or went to bed on that day, the
number of coffees you had during that day, your weight on that day, the weather condition,
or any information that is relevant to you and that can be expressed as a single, simple
value.
Set up links from your diary entries to entities about which you have recorded information
in your Memozine database: persons or organisation you have had contacts with; places you
have visited; books you have read; films you have seen; etc. (see our
Personal Information page for more details), so
that you can easily navigate to relevant information when you look through your diary.
Create queries to search through your diary and quickly find answers to questions that may
come to your mind: When did I last meet with my friend Fred? Which restaurants in Leeds have
I been to during the past year? Have I done any walk longer than 5 miles this summer? Did I
ever have contact with anybody who is working for a particular company? And so on.
